We are fascinated by boom towns, ghost towns, vacant lots, new uses for old buildings.
We are fascinated by lakes that were drained to make land and land that was flooded to make lakes.
We are fascinated by histories: popular, unpopular, and forgotten.
We are fascinated by sea change, climate change and just plain change - coyotes returning to San Francisco, wolves returning to California, wolves deciding they don't like California and going right back to Oregon.
The way that we execute these fascinations is unpredictable.
